Hello!
My name is Joanna Veeh.
I am pursuing a Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology, to be completed in May 2025.
It took me a long time to get where I am today. I have spent most of my career in adult higher education. Not that what I do for my grownup job isn’t exciting—I love it—but I’ve always wanted to do more. I’ve always had a knack for technology and creating engaging content in webinars or employee handbooks; I’ve loved every second of it.
A few years ago, before landing on Instructional Design, I started a blog about the mysteries of the universe and a small digital download Etsy store to flex my creative muscles. All of these ideas were wrapped up in my LLC. It’s been a trip! My blog, “Joanna Arcana,” focuses on the mysteries of the universe and uses curiosity and science to review new and interesting phenomena.
Around the time I started my blog, I also started a similar one named Etsy Store. I’ve always been the nerd who loves creating letterhead, worksheets, and other digital media, and I felt this could be a great way to share my skills. You will also see some of my interests displayed in my work for sale. My best sellers have been a scientific “Ghost Hunting Kit and Witness Statement for Paranormal Investigators” and a video game guide, “Animal Crossing New Horizons ACNH Gametracker,” making my audience unique and special.
All of these ideas have led me here.
My goal is to combine my expertise in instructional design with my passion for the mysterious. By integrating these two worlds, I aim to create unique, engaging educational content that sparks curiosity and fosters learning. This combination has culminated in creating the Mystical School Bus (a non-copywrite version of Magic School Bus). In my head, a bus provides a collaborative space where explorers can share ideas, uncover secrets, and delve into the world’s mysteries. Whether it’s Ms. Frizzle’s outrageous science expeditions or Scooby-Doo and the gang in the Mystery Machine, the bus symbolizes the spirit of investigation and the endless possibilities of learning beyond conventional boundaries.
